Ik ben geen Madagascarkenner maar heb wat voor jullie gezocht, vanaf
http://madagasca.pagina.nl, en Google met trefwoorden als boot, boat, ferry, madagascar, madagaskar, mocambique, beira, tukar....

Verder staan er op internet opmerkingen over "slow boat to madagascar" als een soort verbanningsoord; schijnt een Engelstalige uitdrukking te zijn, zoiets als Timboektoe.
Verder vind je eigenlijk niets, dus misschien gewoon maar proberen?
