These days the Transiberica Bike Race is running:

,a ultracycling race across Spain and Portugal, in the style of the Transconstinental in Europe, or the TransAm in North America, it is a self-supported bicycle race where every biker follow your own route to reach the finish, only exists the obligation to pass for the marked Check Points. Participants generally takes a racing bike ready to bikepacking and they are followed by a Traker GPS for the organization.
This event is organizated for a friend of mine, the Spanish ultracyclist Carlos Mazon (Bilbao) who already particapated in the Transcontinental:

Bikers generally cycling more than 300-400kms. by day treating of doing the less time possible, even they cycling during the night and sleep only a few hours.
